Religulous

Hallelujah! Noel moved out, and I was ready for documentaries again! Caty and Noel helped me tidy up the garage before the show. Webs, Dust, and stains were accumulating. It was time for some spring cleaning. The new rug was a donation from Jamil to the theatre.

"Religulous" was a big hit among the heathens. Bill Maher made us laugh till we cried. Dustin and Eva broke bread with their fellow hard-core garage theatre fans. Patrons trickled in steadily. Once the movie was over the garage was packed. As usual it was great having so many friends in one place.

No one took me up on my offer to attend the religious service of their choice. Phew!

Thank you everyone for the clever comments in the guest book! Also, a big thank you to whomever closed down the garage after the party. I needed to get some rest for work early the next day. I wasn't that successful at resting, but I sure felt great in the morning! ;) I think I'll pray for Bill Maher's forgiveness...

Jared's Birthday Movie - "He's got a bomb, and puppies!"

So let's go... It was good for me. Was it good for you?

It was our turn for community night watch. The Communism tight crotch? What?

We were dressed in our best Mariah Carey printed tanks, and styled like the Avalon: a haircut that says, "I care about how I look, but I'm still approachable." We skipped the documentary so we'd have more time to go disco.

Several very silky-smooth people arrived for the showing of, "You Don't Mess with the Zohan." There were many gifts bestowed upon a very lucky "Scrappy Coco." Thank you. The beer, poetry, artwork, cards and books were really unexpected. I'm just thankful that so many wonderful people came to hang-out! I was harder than trigonometry!

Excellent work on the top-secret mission Alex! Maybe our plan wasn't fool-proof, but it all worked out in the end. Glad you found us Shea! I hope you two enjoyed the house while we were gone. ;-)

Did anyone see what got spilled in the garage? Oh wait, that's Neosporin! I use it on cuts and on genital sores. This is why I like partying in the garage. :-P It's easy to make sticky!

After the movie we proceeded to "disco" at Taboo. Dustin and Eva felt a little over-dressed, but I thought they looked great. Verena and Johnny had to do homework. Way to be disciplined!

The jam band at taboo had a hip-hop feel to it. Shortly after I walked in, Jay introduced me to Lucie and Celeste. It's sooooo nice to make new friends.

There was dancing, drinking, and more dancing. We ended up retreating to Jay's place for pasta again. Jamil, thanks for finding Jay's license. Jay, those were some wild drinks. I don't know how anyone had the energy to Salsa that late at night.

This was honestly the best birthday I've had, that I can remember. Thanks everyone.

Twas the day of Christmas
and to the garage theatre we went.
No family nearby
and no bars open to get bent!

The orphans arrived,
some with libations.
While Phil DJ'd his best;

The tree was decorated
and the stalkings were hanging.
Santa dropped off some carrot juice
Wrapped in Blondes for banging.

Artist were abound
the guest book was getting filled.
The fire was warm
and everyone felt good willed!
